pPROTECTION OF CRITICAL NATIONAL ASSETS AND INFRASTRUCTURE : THE ROLE OF THE NIGERIA SECURITY AND CIVIL DEFENCE CORPS ( NSCDC ).

Civil Defence Public Relations Officer says, “the youths are catalysts of positive change in all great nations of the world, therefore, our teeming youths should channel their energy, talents and skills towards the multi – sectorial growth and development of our dear nation, Nigeria.”

The Civil Defence Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Command, Deputy Superintendent of Corps, Oluwaseun Abolurin, while delivering a lecture, on ‘the role of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), in protecting critical national assets and infrastructure of governments at all levels in the Federal Republic of Nigeria,’ challenged, the youths of the nation to own their country’s national assets and see them as being critical indeed. With this mentality, he posited that vandalism and needless destruction of the assets and infrastructure will be a thing of the past in our country.

Also amongst other areas of national importance to the economic prosperity, of our dear nation, he further said, “the youths are catalysts of positive change in all great nations of the world, therefore, our teeming youths should channel their energy, talents and skills towards the multi – sectorial growth and development of our dear nation, Nigeria and not vandalism of oil pipelines, power installations, oil theft and other illegal sharp practices and unscrupulous activities that usually, sabotaged government efforts across all levels.”

Present at the event, ACCESS 2023 CONFERENCE tagged, ‘Youth Arise,’ held, at Oasis of Christ Covenant Ministry International Church, yesterday, Saturday, 28th October, 2023, at Ejigbo, were the NSCDC, the founder Brave Hearts Foundation and Organizer of ACCESS 2023 CONFERENCE, Mrs Chinenye Duluoha, NPF, NDLEA, USA CHAPLAINCY and the FRSC, amidst other supportive agencies and stakeholders, including the media, especially, People and Power News Magazine.
