As part of this efforts to being success to lagosian’s in the face of the current economic situation in the country, Gov Sanwo – olu through the Executive Chairman of Ifako – Ijaiye LCDA Hon. Prince Usman Akanbi Hamzat, recently gave out food palliative to the resident of Ifako – Ijaiye.

My name is hon.Toyin Akerele, the vice chairman Ifako – Ijaiye Local Government council.
What is your appreciation to the government for bringing this to your Local Government?
I want to say a very big thank you to our Governor. He has done very well as people are really happy with what he’s done for our community and they really appreciate it.
What do you think is the impact of this gesture?
it will go a very long way because they can on this for a period of time, they’ll also remember that this was done by the govt.
What advice do you have to the residents of this local government?
I will tell them to be patience because the present administration actually performing and things will get better. The governor, the president are all working hard so things are expected to get better sooner.

Victor Atobadale is my name. I’m the youth coordinator of Ifako – Ijaiye LGA.
What’s your take on what the govt has done in Ifako – Ijaiye as regards the youth and the palliative?
First of all, on behalf of the youth in Ifako – Ijaiye , I want to thank the govt for the food palliative they’ve given us also I want to thank our Executive Chairman, Prince Usman Akanbi Hamzat for what he is been doing for the youth of Ifako – Ijaiye . We understand the economy has really been tough and things are on the high side, so this will eventually help the youth and their families for some days , we really appreciate you.
what do you see or the effect of these palliative on the country at large?
There is a saying that human needs are unsatisfiable, but we have to be greatful, seeing the way the economy is and the subsidy, so I personally urge people to appreciates the little the government as do for now.
What’s your advice to the youth?
I will advice them to look for a job, join positive organisation, stay out of crimes, drugs and other illicit activities.

My name is Victor Adebayo Olubade, council leader Ifako – Ijaiye LGA.
How do you feel as regards what the governor is doing with this food palliative in this local government?
I feel so excited and happy for this palliative, it means he has rememberes us. I will also want to praise him, even though this didn’t go along way to some people I’m still greatful that alot benefited, all we can do is Thank God.
Talking about the masses, what’s your advice to the masses of Ifako – Ijaiye towards the government of Gov. Sanwo – Olu?
I hope the masses appreciate Gov. Sanwo – Olu for the progress and projects he has executed in our Local Government. We have the mini stadium, we have the Fagba overhead bridge coming up we also have the oniderno bridge going on and more, so for all this and more is come up soonest, I appreciate the govt and urge the masses to do same.
What do you think this means to people in the grassroots level?
This will go along way because I know people have been asking for the govt palliative and it really came out at the right time.
Your advice to the good people of ifako-ijaiye?
I’ll will advise the people of Ifake – Ijaiye and Lagos state to have more patience with this administration because I’m sure the govt have more coming for it’s people, so let’s have patience with the Governor; Sanwo – Olu and even the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Thank You.
