The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, Mr Adedotun Keshinro visited the Comptroller, Nigeria Customs Service ( NCS ), Federal Operations Unit ( FOU ), Zone ‘A,’ Comptroller Hussein Ejibunu in his office today, Wednesday, 27th March, 2024.
The visit of the Lagos State Commandant amongst other things was aimed at further cementing the already existing relationship between the two services in the state. He solicited the support of the Comptroller in the areas of intelligence gathering and sharing amongst other things as part but not limited to the collaborative efforts intensively needed at this critical time to stem the tide of insecurity in the country and particularly in our dear state.
The NCS on its part affirmed the need for both services to harness their collective strength through collaboration and support for each other as tools to eradicating the menace of insecurity in the state.
The Comptroller, FOU ‘A,’ Comptroller Hussein Ejibunu commended the Lagos State Commandant and the personnel of the Command for working assiduously to ensure they deliver on their mandates. He recalled the collaborative efforts of all the security services during the last general elections and appealed for much more of such joint efforts amongst all in a bid to generate uncommon effective outcomes that will continually lead to greater peace in the state.
