Today, Thursday, 16th November, 2023, the Public Relations Officer ( PRO ), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, Deputy Superintendent of Corps Abolurin Oluwaseun, took time to enlighten, the general public and particularly, members of the Police Community Relations Committee ( PCRC ), on the dangers of vandalism of critical national assets and infrastructure in the nation, the importance of the safe school program and the overwhelming results since its formulation, by the Federal Government, with the NSCDC leading from the front.
The Command’s PRO, reeled out the programmes of the NSCDC, Lagos State Command, under the able and dynamic leadership, of the State Commandant, Commandant of Corps Usman Ishaq Alfadarai, MFR, fdc, mnim, mpa, fisn, fcss, in averting youths’ involvement in any form of vandalism, sexual and gender based violence, especially, in our schools and the larger society, at the 7th Bienial Conference of the PCRC titled, “Youths in Crime : A Societal Burden.” The event was well attended, by the Key note speaker, Honourable Commissioner for the Ministry of Youth and Social Development, Mr Ogunlende Mobolaji, the representative of the Commissioner of Police, Assistant Commissioner of Police Idowu Ebenezer, Executives of Lagos PCRC, State Command PROs of the Nigeria Police Force ( NPF ), National Drug Law Enforcement Agency ( NDLEA ), Federal Road Safety Corps ( FRSC ) and NSCDC, who contributed, to the aforementioned topic as discussants and panelists.
