NSCDC LAGOS PERSONNEL PASS OUT FROM COCATRAP 023, FOAHT 012 AND AGRO RANGERS 010, PRODUCES BEST FIRERS AND GENERAL SQUAD LEADERS FROM COLLEGE, ABEOKUKA.

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, has produced, new batch of personnel well trained and groomed, in Arms Handling –
College Composite Arms Training Program ( COCATRAP ), protection of agro – allied investments ( Agro Rangers ) and Field Officers Arms Handling Training Program and Combat Swimming Program, which lasted, all together within six ( 6 ) weeks ago.

The training curriculum comprised, but not limited to the followings itemized, below; Drills, Parade, Combat and Field Craft, Marksmanship, VIP protection, Disaster Management, Stripling and Assembling of various light weapons, Servicing of weapons, Solo survival in unfamiliar terrains, Beat Management, Financial Management et ce tera, in the just concluded, consistent series of trainings at the College of Security Management, Oke – Mosan, Abeokuka, Ogun state.

Training participants, from Lagos State Command bagged, various awards, giving credence, to the quality of knowledge and skills they have obtained, through the rigorous but impactful moments they have encountered in the camp.

The awardees from Lagos State Command include; Deputy Commandant of Corps Obasi Chinyere, Leadership award ( female ) for Agro Rangers, Chief Superintendent of Corps Salami Oladimeji, General Squad Leader award for Agro Rangers Superintendent of Corps Sunday, Ogunjobi, Leadership and most well behaved award for FOAHT, Deputy Superintendent of Corps Abolurin Oluwaseun, ( General Squad Leader 1 – COCATRAP 022 ),
DSC Salako Olusegun General Squad Leader 1 for COCATRAP 023, DSC Salami Oladimeji, Assistant Superintendent of Corps II Azeez Ogundeyi, Best firer for Agro Rangers and most well behaved personnel.

The State Commandant, NSCDC, Lagos State Command, Commandant of Corps Usman Ishaq Alfadarai, mfr, fdc, mnim, mpa, fisn, fcss, upon receiving the news of the successes achieved, by his personnel at the training appreciated, the efforts they have put in so far to develop and build capacity in their chosen career. He also charged, them not to relent as their services will be ever needed, in various areas to combat oil theft, illegal dealings in petroleum products, vandalization of critical national assets and infrastructure of government at all levels and to combat herdsmen encroachment and other saboteurs of our dear nation’s economy and unscrupulous elements in the state.

The Provost of the College, Assistant Commandant General, Dr Nwaomelebele Dibie Rose, in her address yesterday, explained that the training and retraining exercise, of the college is in line with the vision and mission of the erudite Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, CG Ahmed Abubakar Audi, PhD., mni, OFR, to rejig, revamp, reposition and restructure the Corps, in providing better security services to the good and great people of our dear nation, in the areas of the Corps’ mandate and any other national duty assigned to it by government.

The Provost, the management staff of the college and the instructors were among those present to witness the passing out ceremony of the new batch of well trained and retrained personnel of the Corps, from across various state Commands and formations of the service.
