63RD INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION: NIGERIA MUST RISE AGAIN -ARASE

As the nation celebrates it’s 63rd Independence anniversary, the Chairman of the Police Service Commission Dr. Solomon Arase, Inspector General of Police has called on Nigerians to have faith in the greatness of the Nigerian nation insisting that all hopes are not lost.

This was contained in a press statement released to media houses by Ikechukwu Ani , the Head Press and Public Relations Department PSC, stating that Dr. Arase urges Nigerians to spare a minute to salute and celebrate the freedom of heroes fought and cherish the nation’s diversity.

He noted that Nigeria must rise again and that the Labour of our heroes past will never be in vain.

According to the PSC Chairman “it is obvious that no nation is perfect; we have had our fair share of hate and violence but this is the moment to build our new future full of love and understanding”
He advised that “we must decide now to join hands with the present Government to move our nation forward”.

Dr Arase prayed that “this day should be special for Nigerians and their loved ones and that it should present to them the sacred opportunity to celebrate the glory of freedom.
