In line with one of the primary mandates of the Corps and the vision of the Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ) CG Ahmed Abubakar Audi, PhD, mni, OFR, to ensure adequate disaster management in our dear country, in a bid to protecting lives and property, the Lagos State Commandant, Mr Adedotun Sunday Keshinro visited the Permanent secretary Lagos State Emergency Management Authority ( LASEMA ), Dr Oluwafemi Damilola Oke – Osanyitolu yesterday, Wednesday, 3rd April, 2024. The Lagos State Commandant seized the visit to reinforce the already existing relationship between both organizations. He also appreciated the warm welcome given to the command’s personnel attached to LASEMA. He referred to his visit to LASEMA as home coming, emphasizing the fact that one of our core mandates is similar, hence the need for a continuous synergy between us.
The Lagos State Commandant in a bid to further solidify the existing relationship promised to deploy armed personnel to join the officers already attached to LASEMA so that the facility and its workers can be adequately protected.
