The remains of Access Bank CEO, Herbert Wigwe, wife, Doreen, and son, identify as Chizzy has landed in Nigeria from the United States of America.
The three bodies on Friday arrived the Muhammed Murtala International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, in preparation for the burial.
Further checks confirmed that they will be later transported to River State where the banker, his wife and son are expected to be given a state burial by the Rivers State Government.
Wigwe died in a helicopter crash in California, United States of America, on February 9, 2024.
His wife, Doreen, son, Chizzy and former Managing Director of Nigerian Exchange Group, Abimbola Ogunbanjo, were also on board the ill-fated aircraft alongside two pilots
