ALFADARAI VISITS NTA CHANNEL 10, RECEIVES NEEDS ASSESSMENT TO PROTECT STATION’S ASSETS, PILOTS NEW PROGRAMME ON THE CORPS’ STATUTORY MANDATES.

In line with the recent directive of the Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), CG Ahmed Abubakar Audi, PhD., mni, OFR, to all State Commands, to ensure effective deployment of personnel to secure all Nigeria Television Authority ( NTA ) stations across the federation, Lagos State Command has concluded, all administrative and logistical arrangements, to ensure immediate commencement of the assignment.

To further drive the express directive, of the CG home, for adequate implementation, the State Commandant, NSCDC, Lagos State Command, Commandant of Corps Usman Ishaq Alfadarai, MFR, fdc, yesterday, Tuesday, 7th November, 2023, left no stone unturned, as he visited, the head office of NTA CHANNEL 10, in Tejuosho, Yaba, where he met with the General Manager, Mr Olatunji Adekoya and other top management staff of the station, to synchronize all related issues and ideas around the new partnership between both agencies of government.

The Lagos State Commandant also seized, the privilege to clearly, expatiate the mandates of our dear and revered service to protect all critical national assets and infrastructure of the nation as explicitly, demanded, by the Acts establishing the Corps in 2003 and 2007 respectively and the National Policy Strategy of 2019, which also gave the NSCDC the lead agency role in this regard.

The Lagos State Command has also identified, NTA CHANNEL 10 and NTA2 CHANNEL 5 as the dual NTA stations to mutually, benefit, from this renewed, relationship the Corps has established, with the media. It will further endear peace, fresh breath and adequate security of lives and property in the state.

The two agencies also agreed to commence a new programme on set, to enhance feedback mechanism and gather intelligence from the general public, which will further aid the command, to better improv on its service delivery and give its very best in the state. The programme will also centre around the Corps’ mandates and other statutory assignments given the command to undertake and enhance the wider security network of the state.
