The Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Pastor Cornelius Oyefolu Ojelabi; and the Director General of the state APC Campaign Council and former Senate Minority Whip, Senator Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon, led other important personalities to the reception held in honour of the newly sworn-in Senator representing Lagos West Senatorial District, Senator Idiat Oluranti Adebule on Tuesday, 13 June, 2023.
Family members led by the celebrant husband, Saheed Adebule were not left out as they made their presence felt at the reception which took place at the Lagos/Osun hall of the prestigious Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
Also in attendance to honour the former Deputy Governor of Lagos State were: the Secretary of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) and South West Director of the Directorate of the Contact and Mobilzation of the defunct APC Presidential Campaign Council, Alhaji Mutiu Are; former Nigerian High Commissioner to Ghana, Senator Musiliu Olatunde Obanikoro; former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sabit Adeyemi Ikuforiji; and Alhaji Musbau Oyefeso.
There were also members of the Lagos State House of Assembly such as member representing Ojo State Constituency I, Olusegun Adebisi Ege; the lawmaker representing Lagos Island State Constituency I, Princess Oyekan-Olumegbon; member representing Mushin State Constituency I, Nureni Akinsanya among others.
Members of the Conference 57, umbrella organisation for Council Chairmen in Lagos were led by: the Chairman of the Odiolowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area and Director General of the Adebule Campaign Council, Honourable Rasak Olusola Ajala; and the Chairman of Ojo Local Government and Chairman of the Ojo Federal Constituency Campaign Council, Honourable Rosulu Idowu.
The Adebule Youth Vanguards and the Adebule Babes were also in attendance, spicing the event with melodious songs and displays.
Speaking at the event, Senator Adebule assured that she will make the people he main focus of attention.
“Our people will be our main focus and we will work in tandem with Senators of likeminds to push our programmes through,” she assured.
