The Exco of All Ojodu Community Residents Development Association under the Chairmanship of Alhaji Sanni paid a courtesy visit to the FRSC office at Ojodu for familarization and to discuss how to achieve free flow of traffic on Ogunnusi road.
The FRSC Sector Commander Lagos State, Corp commander Babatunde Farinloye really appreciate the visit of the Community Excos. He used the opportunity to explain the meaning of FRSC, roles and expected relationship they’re to have with the populace.
The Excos were enlightened on what FRSC stands for as is an agency of the government with the statutory responsibilities of road safety management in Nigeria. It was established in 1988 and is the foremost government body responsible for Road Transportation Management. He said the enforcement the FRSC is doing from time to time should be appreciated by the community since the primary objective of the Corp is to control traffic on the road and not with an intention to cause traffic when enforcing the law.
The other members of the FRSC in attendance also educate the community members on the importance of Road Safety around Ojodu community.
The chairman of the community Alhaji Sanni presented the Corp Commander with a Ojodu Magazine, which is the publication of the community.
With great joy and sense of collaboration between both parties, the Corp Commander assured the community of a maintenance of free flow of traffic on that axis while he encouraged members of the community to always volunteer to join in the control traffic.
In attendance from the FRSC were Corps Commander Babatunde Farinloye. (Sector Commander), DCC Lucas Oguntade. (DCC Operations), DCC Tajudeen Made (DCC Logistics), DCC LL Ogundele ( Corridor Commander Sagamu- Ijebu Ode- Ore-Benin Expressway), CC Kehinde Hamzat ( Corridor Commander , Lagos – Ibadan- Egbeda), SRC Julius Osakwue (Intelligence Officer),SRC Olabisi Sonusi while the community were ably represented by Alhaji Sanni, the Chairman of All Ojodu Community Residents Development Association, Overseer Gabriel Adeleke, Chief Ogundipe, Chief Omotola, Alhaji Ojupoke, Mr Solomon and Alhaji Abass Abiodun-Bisimilahi.
