A Month after their public handshake amid an intense supremacy tussle, Governor Dapo Abiodun and Senator Gbenga Daniel have returned to their old ways.

They are back to distancing themselves from each other at events.

The recently held famous cultural festival, Ojude Oba in Ijebu-Ode Ogun state highlighted this development.

The Governor and Senator from the same division in Ogun state – Remo – attended the immensely reported but unlike on Saturday, May 18, 2024, one-year remembrance of the legendary banker, Otunba Subomi Balogun they did not feature each other in the after-event pictures released by their handlers.

And the development amplifies the resumption of hostilities on either side, barely days after Senator Daniel’s camp featured the picture of a handshake with Governor Abiodun believed in some quarters to be the beginning of fence-mending, that later events have proved to be a mirage
